Food is something I LOVE! Eating at new places, trying new things, I love it all. In this town there is no shortage of places to eat but when it comes to my favorites, that list is much smaller. I'm not much of a chain restaurant girl. No shame for those who are and there are some pretty great ones! I like seek out the local places and try to find the most amazing meals and experiences. To help you navigate your way to some really awesome food, I have created a short list of some of my favorite places in the area, starting with this picture.

This gorgeous dish comes from Rivertown Bistro in Historic Downtown Conway, SC. Rivertown Bistro has been a staple in Downtown Conway since 1994. Their seasonal menu and fresh seafood keep things exciting and gives you a reason to keep coming back to see what's new! See the full menu at RivertownBistro.com I would also recommend trying Chef Smith's other restaurant, Bonfire Taqueria which sits just down the road, along the Waccamaw River in Conway.

Moving up the road to Myrtle Beach, I have a few favorites here. Arepa Spot is one place that I say is a MUST EAT if you come to Myrtle Beach. This Venezuelan restaurant serves the most amazing arepas in addition to empanadas and more. Their focus on quality includes a healthier way to enjoy amazing food that is also gluten free and fresh! Arepas are handheld type of street food that is easy to eat on the go and packed full of goodness! If you prefer a bowl, they have that too! Don't forget to order the lemonade! The vibe of this place is welcoming with an awesome staff, comfortable with outdoor seating as well as indoor seating and is also pet friendly!

Staying in the same city, we have Loleo Juice Bar offering fresh, organic juices, smoothies, salads, and more. Did I mention that they make organic gluten free waffles topped with all kinds of delicious options?! These ladies know how to make food taste amazing AND completely good for you!

Headed up the road into North Myrtle Beach, let's take a trip to Thai in TownThis local favorite features fresh Thai dishes made to order. If you prefer your food to be on the spicy side, their meals are fully customizable to be as hot as you want it to be or as mild as you need it to be. Dine in or carry out, you will NOT be disappointed!

I will have more for you in a later post but I think you can definitely get full of of this one for now. thank you for joining me and keep an eye out for future posts!
