Cabinet Color

Mon, Oct 21st 2019 4:13 pm by Random thoughts and ideas

Kitchen Cabinets

Everyone has an opinion on color.   Picking cabinet colors are no exception.  The new trend is grey and soft colors.   I have white cabinets in my home.  When buying my home I loved the brightness and clean look that I didn’t have with my other home.  Now that I have had a year to look at them and CLEAN them I’m thinking something that doesn’t show every spec of dirt would be great.  Also, if you have cabinets that are in good condition and the color is not to your liking its an inexpensive fix to just paint them.   What is your opinion?

Floors in Bedrooms

Tue, Oct 15th 2019 1:36 pm by Home Ideas

Wood or carpet in the bedrooms.  Most people have definite opinion on this.  I love wood floors.  They are easy to clean, great for people with allergies and make rooms look larger.  However, there is something to say for not stepping on a cold floor when getting out of bed.  I have blended both with area rugs on each side of the bed.  What is your favorite?

Selling Your Home

Tue, Apr 23rd 2019 8:53 am by Lindsay Faircloth Selling your home

Selling your home can't be that difficult, right? I mean, you put a sign in the yard, you put some ads in the paper, you have an open house or two and people will come. You can even save a ton of money by using a discount brokerage or an online company!

I WISH it were that easy to sell every house! I would never have another disappointed client again! Unfortunately, that is not the case with every home. Selling your home requires extensive research of the current market conditions in your area. Pricing your home at true market value is crucial to the amount of time it will stay on the market. Marketing your home takes time and requires every avenue that you could possibly use. With 89%...
